Blown Away by an Affordable Personal Portable Wind Turbine!

At Last a Portable Wind Turbine We Can Afford.
Wind turbine technology has progressed to the point where offshore units are now being planned that are 5 Megawatts and larger in capacity. The turbines are getting more powerful and the towers are getting taller but what about wind energy for home or even portable power? It is not like you can easily move one of these large utility scale units but why cannot we have a small affordable personal wind turbine?
Well, thanks to some forward thinking entrepreneurs in Iceland and crowd funding site Kickstarter we are about to have some options.

These small portable units all come with three legs and three blades and the whole unit folds up for transport. A grid ready interface allows the unit to plugged directly into your RV or electric car, where ever you are. You can configure the blades to be vertical or horizontal so you can hit just the right angle to maximize the usage of the wind.

There are several sizes to fit your needs and the cost is estimated to be a fraction of what other home wind turbines are priced for.
