The Norwegian Government and Regional Public Sector organizations across Norway have recognized the potential market and continue to invest public sector resources towards enabling the local datacenter industry to grow into an international, commercially attractive solution that will generate an increase in Direct Foreign Investment for the Norwegian Economy. With stable political governance, a stable economy (credit ranking nr. 1 in the world), the ease of doing business (ranked nr. 6 in the world) and readily available access to clean hydropower, Norway provides a unique proposition to satisfy a growing international marketplace for large scale Datacenter, IT Hosting Services and International Cloud Delivery Centers. The power grid and other related infrastructure needed are rated amongst the best in the world.

SCALABILITY AND FLEXIBILITY

We have the possibility of building out 120.000 m2 of whitespace in the mine. The customers will be able to reserve space for future growth with limited investments, and we can produce a perfect capital cost alignment increasing capacity in the facility fast, and at low cost, when needed. The flexibility is unique. Not only will one be able to “plug and play” capacity needs, but the large space and the logistics allows different product solutions in a cost effective way. We can facilitate all familiar concepts for white space solutions and the facility structure enables a streamlined solution for containers in all known shapes and sizes. Inside each customer area in the mine, we can customize power density, temperature, humidity, operational equipment, tier level and all related services.

HIGH LEVEL OF SECURITY

It is a Tier III facility accessed from two single points of entry. This offers a high level of security and access control for such a data center whilst offering natural Electromagnetic Pulse Protection (EMP) due to the natural rock formation.
