PV tends to be factored in only after the building is already constructed, without considering that the size, shape and construction of the roof may have a significant impact on installation costs. Anticipating the number of PV considerations during building planning can contribute to the optimisation of system performance while reducing its cost. The presentation will use practical examples to show the benefits of factoring in PV during the building design phase.
